Coco Gauff is a professional tennis player from the United States. She was born on March 13, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. Gauff began playing tennis at a young age and quickly established herself as a top junior player. In 2019, at the age of 15, she made her professional debut and qualified for the main draw of the Wimbledon Championships, where she became the youngest player to qualify for the tournament in the Open Era.
Gauff made a big impact in the tournament and went on to beat Venus Williams in the first round. She eventually reached the fourth round, becoming the youngest player to reach that stage of the tournament since 1991. She also became the youngest player to reach the third round of the US Open since 1991.
In 2020, Gauff won her first career WTA title at the Linz Open. She also reached the fourth round at the French Open and the third round at the US Open.
